The highest achievement in the show ring is accomplished when a Cat successfully earns the title of National Winner (NW). CFA established the title of Grand Champion in 1930 and approved the title of National Winner in the early 1980's, making it retroactive. In CFA, each year the top 25 Cats in Championship, Kittens and Premiership are awarded the NW title. 

The Siamese is one of America's early breeds, and CFA chose to recognize the breed as one of its first five registered breeds, back in 1906. 

Two Siamese have earned the title of Kitten of the Year in CFA. GC, NW Thaibok Whiskey au Go-Go was KOTY in 1968-69 and GC, BWR, NW Hardan's Kenji of Chocolado was KOTY in 2021-22.

Two Siamese have earned the award of Best Cat. GC, BW, NW Karnak Zapata was the first Siamese COTY in 1970. Six years later, GC, BW, NW Thaibok Teriyaki was Best Cat in Championship for 1975-76.

The 1973-74 show season saw the greatest success for the breed, with 6 Siamese earning National Wins - 5 adults, and 1 alter.
